Quality of Life

The Twin Cities, including Ramsey County, offers many cultural amenities. From the area’s vibrant music scene to world-class museums and zoos, residents and visitors never run out of things to do. In fact, these incredible cultural amenities are one of the many reasons Ramsey County continues to attract new residents and grow.

Active Sports Culture

The Minnesota United brought Major League Soccer (MLS) to Saint Paul’s Midway area with the new Allianz Field. The city’s minor league baseball team, the Saints (owned by Bill Murray) play in the new CHS Field in downtown Saint Paul. We love our local teams and have an enthusiastic sports culture that brings residents together to cheer them on.

Beautiful Parks

Ramsey County communities are home to numerous regional and municipal parks that connect residents and visitors with our beautiful natural resources. Ramsey County maintains more than 6,000 acres of parkland, and Saint Paul’s park system, which consists of nearly 200 parks, was recently named the No. 2 park system in the country for the fourth straight year. Residents and visitors take advantage of all the park system has to offer in the warm months as well as the cold ones.

The cold doesn’t scare residents or businesses away. Rather, the area embraces Old Man Winter with events throughout the county such as the annual Saint Paul Winter Carnival, ice skating at the Guidant John Rose MN Oval, cros- country skiing at Tamarack Nature Center and other parks, live music in the Saint Paul Conservatory and much more.
